Vinet proudly serves her community as a holistic medicine and healing nutrition practitioner. She is the founder of Scientifically Natural, which provides clients with a new perspective on their health. As part of her duties in the field, Dr. Vinet assists patients in navigating complex health issues, such as autoimmune disorders and hormonal imbalances, thus empowering others with education about their health conditions. After earning a BS in biomedical engineering at Tulane University, Dr. Vinet initiated her career as a biomedical research engineer. She began working in an orthopedic clinic, conducting clinical research focused on natural interventions for orthopedic conditions such as joint injuries, meniscus tears, arthritis and headaches. She and her team explored various alternatives to surgery or pharmaceutical interventions. Though she started her career in a laboratory with monkeys, her true passion for her field was sparked by interacting with others and witnessing the immediate impact of her efforts on the lives of her clients. Dr. Vinet became a board-certified holistic health practitioner with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners after achieving a PhD in holistic medicine at the University of Natural Health. Reflecting on her achievements, she believes moving into the relatively unknown territory of clinical research at the orthopedic clinic and publishing her findings was a significant milestone in her career. She conducted extensive analyses of clinical applications and published her work in a prestigious regenerative medicine journal. Receiving recognition from like-minded peers in the research community showed her that she could succeed in the holistic field, pushing her to launch Scientifically Natural in 2023. Moving forward, Dr. Vinet strives to bridge the gap in health care and help her clients take control of their health journeys. She believes that accessing health care information has often felt distant and overwhelming for many, so she focuses on simplifying this process, making it manageable for practitioners and patients. Stewart boasts nearly three decades as a dental expert. Having recently retired from full-time work as a dentist in 2021, he currently serves as a consultant for Delta Dental, where he audits treatment plans and dental implant cases. He was inspired to pursue a career in health care by his mother, a registered nurse, but was uninterested in joining a large hospital or practice. To wit, he instead preferred operating independently. This desire for autonomy led him to pursue dentistry instead of medicine. In 1996, Dr. Stewart began his own practice, Gary Stewart DDS Inc., where he served his patients both as a dentist and as the company president. In addition to long-range planning and executive functions, he handled clinical cases for general and preventive dentistry patients, as well as restorative and implant cases. During his time as president, the company grew to two locations with two additional associates. Dr. Stewart considers this expansion to be one of the highlights of his professional career. As a part of his commitment to his industry, Dr. Stewart maintains his affiliation with several pertinent organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and the Orange County Dental Society. Furthermore, he remains active in medical missions and charitable outreach. Accounting for his accomplishments, Dr. Stewart is particularly proud to have provided care to patients in the Dominican Republic, including routine screenings and several complex interventional procedures. These included trachelectomy and adenoidectomy procedures, experiences that were deeply fulfilling, as Dr. Stewart and his team were able to provide critical dental care to those in less privileged communities. He credits his success to his persistence and determination to always give his best effort. In the coming years, he plans to travel more, with plans to return to the Dominican Republic for outreach work before taking personal trips to China, Japan and Israel. GARY M.
