At the onset of her career, she worked with the Mobil Research and Development Company from 1988 to 1996. Afterward, she joined the Mobil Technology Company, where she served as a research associate between 1996 and 2000. Throughout her career, Dr. Cheng specialized in heterogeneous catalyst evaluation and application for refinery and petrochemical processes. She holds 71 United States patents, many for hydrocarbon, hydroprocessing and catalyst composition technologies. Furthermore, she authored and co-authored numerous scholarly works throughout the 1980s and 1990s, with much of her work focused on different chemical studies. Dr. Cheng was prominently published in the Energy & Fuels Journal and the Journal of Organic Chemistry. Originally from Shanghai, China, Dr. Cheng began her vocational journey as a student at Peking University, where she earned a BS in chemistry in 1981. After immigrating to the United States, she continued her education at Lehigh University, where she achieved a PhD in organic chemistry in 1986 and completed postdoctoral research on coal chemistry in 1988. In honor of her achievements, Dr. Cheng has been presented with numerous accolades, including R&D Patent Awards from Exxon Mobil Corporation for 2007 to 2008, 2009 to 2010, and 2011 to 2012. She also received a Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN) Award in 2013. Though she is retired from full-time work, she remains deeply dedicated to her field, continuing her participation as a member of the American Chemical Society since 1983. Attributing her success to her fruitful and honest relationships with her colleagues and peers, Dr. Cheng is particularly proud of her previous involvement in several key commercial processes for the Exxon Mobil Corporation. Dr. Jane C. Cheng has accrued over 30 years of experience as a skilled research scientist. Specializing in cybersecurity and engineering, he has served as the managing director of cyber resilience for NTT DATA Group Corporation since 2021. In his role, he is responsible for systems integration and digital transformation consulting, drawing on his AI expertise and belief that users should drive change through technology adoption rather than fearing it. Previously, Mr. Chaganti worked with Insight Global on 5G edge solutions and frameworks between 2020 and 2021. Mr. Chaganti began his career at AT&T in 2004, working as an RF engineer before becoming a regional RF end-to-end engineer in 2005. Between 2009 and 2011, he operated as a national RF engineer for RAN design, capital planning and standards, including an eight-month sabbatical he spent living and working in Japan. Mr. Chaganti spent two years consulting for Ericsson and Cerion Optimization Services before returning to AT&T as a principal member of the fundamental network planning group. As he continued to innovate with AT&T, he pivoted to cybersecurity products and marketing from 2017 until 2020. Born in India, Mr. Chaganti initially studied at the University of Madras and earned a BEng in electrical, electronics and communications engineering in 1998. He later relocated to the United States to pursue additional graduate education, achieving an MSEE at the Tennessee Technological University in 2001 after writing his thesis on early machine learning concepts. Now a seasoned industry expert, Mr. Chaganti continues to prioritize professional development throughout his career. To wit, he recently completed an MBA in global strategy at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2021. Adjacent to his primary professional endeavors, Mr. Chaganti remains dedicated to civic advocacy, regularly donating to local charities and the Sankara Eye Foundation.
