In 2020, he joined Mohawk Industries Inc. as an architect and senior manager of digital marketing and consumerfacing apps. He quickly rose through the company’s leadership ranks, becoming the director of application development the following year and the senior director of digital technology shortly thereafter. In 2022, he became the vice president of digital innovation and artificial intelligence, a role in which he oversees the company’s North American product information and digital asset management, business architecture, and virtual and augmented reality teams. Mr. Narayanan began his career as an application engineer for Makino Asia in 2001, building on his background in tool and die making and experience in robotics to program CNC manufacturing equipment. He departed the company in 2009 to become an IT consultant with Future Focus Infotech Private Limited, where he remained until 2012. For the remainder of the decade, he served as a senior applications architect for Keenan & Associates. Born in Chennai, India, Mr. Narayanan began his studies with vocational diplomas in tool and die making, e-commerce, and information technology. After relocating to the United States, he completed a BS in mechanical engineering at West Coast University and continued his education at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he received an MS in information technology and management. Most recently, he achieved an MBA at the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. Adjacent to his primary efforts, Mr. Narayanan is the founder of Good and Humble, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating community change through partnerships that follow the philosophy of “get good, give good, make good, serve good, and manage good.” He is also a board member of Hemophilia of Georgia, a content creator, and the author of more than 35 books for children on concepts in Vedic math. Since 2022, he has worked for Crexi as a Salesforce architect and technologist. In his current role, he has helped create software solutions and infrastructure to streamline operations for many major companies, including Uber, Amazon and Tesla. To wit, Mr. Miller endeavors to eliminate the inefficiencies of email communication by enabling these and other companies to interact with each other and their clients via a shared communication system. Adjacent to his primary duties, Mr. Miller has worked with True Love Rescue as a Salesforce consultant, mentor and volunteer through American Corporate Partners since 2020. He originally began his vocational journey in 2008, operating as an information systems analyst for the California Energy Commission until 2013. Alongside his considerable career experience, he holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from California State University, Sacramento. Reflecting on his fulfilling career, Mr. Miller is particularly proud of his contributions in establishing the Uber Eats infrastructure alongside a small team of dedicated colleagues. This pivotal project required demonstrating diverse revenue streams, leading to the development of not only Uber Eats but also loan and auto loan divisions. Mr. Miller attributes his success to his profound love for his family and a steadfast commitment to scientific advancement. He believes in humanity's vast potential, which fuels his passion for the technical field, within which he strives to create innovative solutions.
