Born in India, Mr. Ticckoo began his professional journey at the Indian Institution of Engineers, where he earned a BS in electronics and telecommunications engineering in 1989. Shortly thereafter, he became a senior engineer for Rockwell Automation in 1991, a position he would maintain until 1996, at which point he and his family relocated to the United States. Throughout the late 1990s, he excelled as a programming analyst and systems engineer for Siemens and DaimlerChrysler. He then joined Rockwell Automation in 1999 as a senior field support engineer, eventually becoming a territory services manager in 2006. During this time, Mr. Ticckoo continued his education, earning a master’s degree in engineering management at Oakland University in 2002. In 2012, he began operating as a regional vice president for L&T Integrated Engineering Services in Cincinnati, Ohio. Continuing his ascension of the corporate ladder, he then joined L&T Technology Services Limited in 2016 as the vice president of sales and business development. In 2018, he became the business head of digital manufacturing services and solutions. Prior to his departure from the company in 2023, he was a vice president and global client partner. As an industry veteran, Mr. Ticckoo has served as an advisor for numerous startup companies, work he is deeply proud of. In the coming years, he looks forward to becoming the chief executive officer of Technosoft Engineering Projects Ltd. In light of his fulfilling career, he credits his success to his resilience, dedication to excellence, and to the support of his family. Praaduman Krishen Ticckoo has cultivated a fulfilling career in the field of engineering, with more than 30 years of technology expertise to his credit. Since 2023, he has served as the executive vice president and global head of sales at Technosoft Engineering Projects Ltd. He subsequently received a master’s degree in physics and astronomy from the University of Georgia in 1979 and a master’s degree in optical sciences from the Optical Sciences Center in 1981. He ultimately achieved a PhD in optics at The University of Arizona in 1984. Throughout his career, Dr. Stuhlinger has developed a reputation for creativity, innovation and a willingness to take on complex tasks. He holds six patents, including one for the phased-array telescope he designed, and he is a longtime member of the Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers. Dr. Stuhlinger credits his success to his commitment to learning and passion for his work, and he is proud to have contributed to many unique projects over the course of his industry tenure. He hopes to continue working with and supporting the careers of junior engineers and optical technicians in the coming years. Dr. Tilman W. Stuhlinger draws on over four decades of experience as an optical engineer and the founder and vice president of Ruda Optical. The company specializes in engineering, design, and testing of optical components for the aerospace, defense and health care industries. Dr. Stuhlinger’s interest in optics was sparked by his father, who worked for NASA. By the age of ten, he had independently built his own slide projector, demonstrating an early aptitude for engineering. Dr. Stuhlinger began his career working parttime with Ruda Optical in 1984, departing shortly thereafter to join a Swiss company the following year. From 1986 to 1994, he excelled as a staff engineer for Talandic Research Corporation. He and three other former Talandic engineers then formed Ruda and Associates, re-establishing the optical engineering branch company. Since 1994, Dr. Stuhlinger has taken on leadership and optical engineering responsibilities, developing lenses and optical systems in collaboration with the company’s in-house team.
