Since 1981, she has served as a clinical psychologist with Savannah Psychological Consultants PC. Previously, she worked at the University of Alabama, beginning in 1978 as an intern in adolescent medicine. She then taught psychology at the university between 1979 and 1980. Adjacent to her primary duties, Dr. Brandt remains involved in the larger psychology community. Mathematical proficiency is crucial to the business, as managers must be precise with daiquiri ingredients. In her civic-minded endeavors, Dr. Brandt has made significant contributions through donations to local organizations. She and her colleagues have also initiated efforts to support the families of fallen firefighters and police officers, directing funds to this meaningful cause.
