She leads global product planning and visual strategy, helping drive international growth and cohesive brand execution. Originally joining the company in 2013 as a regional visual manager, she played a pivotal role in expanding Ashley’s international presence into a multi-million-dollar business. Her career with the company has taken her to Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh City, Tampa, Florida, and Rochester, Minnesota, where she continues to lead cross-cultural teams and deliver innovation in home furnishings. Ms. Shan began her professional journey at JB Style Design in Shanghai, rising from designer to project director from 2007 to 2013. Her works were widely published in over a dozen interior design magazines and books, earning design industry recognition. These formative years refined her customer-focused mindset and creative leadership. Beyond her corporate career, Ms. Shan is a passionate visual and musical artist. Her paintings have been featured in China exhibitions, with many pieces now in private collections. She continues to create new work with plans to exhibit in the U.S. As a music artist under the name Becky Shan, she writes, produces, and releases original tracks on more than 20 global streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube. Ms. Shan holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in early childhood education and interior design from East China Normal University. Prior to entering the design field, she taught kindergarten at Shanghai Nanyang International School from 2001 to 2007. Continuing to evolve as both a strategic thinker and an artist, Ms. Shan remains committed to inspiring others, growing her artistic journey, and achieving new milestones with her team at Ashley Furniture Industries.
