132 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine MEDICINE, HEALTH CARE AND WELLNESS JANICE HALL, PHD PROVIDER TimelyCare Grand Prairie, TX Dr. Janice Hall is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist who has dedicated her career to providing therapeutic resources to clients. Interested in a career in health care from a young age, she initially hoped to become a pediatrician and served as president of her local hospital’s volunteer corps as a teenager. She attended The University of Texas at Austin, earning a Bachelor of Science in elementary education with a focus on special education in 1976. While completing a pre-service practicum working with middle school students, Dr. Hall recognized the role that therapy played in promoting positive long-term outcomes for special education students and their families. This realization led Dr. Hall to continue her studies at Texas A&M University and the University of Miami, where she took summer coursework in psychology. In 1984, she completed a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy at Abilene Christian University, and in 1990, she was awarded a Master of Science in psychology by the University of North Texas. During this time, she served as assistant director of student counseling at Abilene Christian University, a role that solidified her interest in pursuing doctoral studies in psychology. Dr. Hall returned to the University of North Texas, completing a Doctor of Philosophy in counseling psychology in 1995 before going on to a postdoctoral program in clinical neuropsychology the following year. In 2000, Dr. Hall became adjunct faculty at the University of North Texas, where she would teach until 2008. During this time, she maintained an active clinical practice, becoming the executive director of Richland Hills Counseling Center in 2002. In 2008, she stepped down from the position to establish Family Christian Resources, which offered a range of interventional and educational services, including clinical services, consulting and graduate student supervision. She remained chief executive officer of the company until 2020. Since 2024, Dr. Hall has been a counseling and psychotherapy provider for TimelyCare, where she previously served as a longstanding director of curriculum development and complex case
