In the coming years, Dr. Hall hopes to publish a book on resilience combining observations about her family, her personal journey of recovery following a stroke, and insights gained from her clinical research. She advises others interested in careers in counseling to find a mentor and focus on developing their unique strengths as clinicians and underscores the necessity of cultivating a lifelong learning ethos. Dr. Hall is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Texas Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. management. In addition to her professional responsibilities, Dr. Hall has been a member of the board of Christian Works for Children, a nonprofit organization specializing in counseling for adoption, grief and trauma, since 1996.
