142 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine MEDICINE, HEALTH CARE AND WELLNESS Rina Barak is a proven leader in the health care industry. Since 2021, she has served as the chief executive officer of SLEA Therapies, which provides clients with a variety of personalized, therapeutic services. These services include parent coaching, behavioral health and childhood development services, and occupational, educational, speech and language therapies. Ms. Barak joined the organization in 2012 as a licensed speech language pathologist, became the director of the speech program in 2016, and moved into her CEO role in 2021. Ms. Barak guides the company culture, fosters positive client relationships, and maintains the quality of the company’s services. Furthermore, she oversees daily operations, finances, budgeting and the development of key performance indicators. As part of her commitment to her professional pursuits, she has also participated as a member of Vistage Worldwide Inc. since 2024. At the onset of her vocational journey, Ms. Barak pursued a formal education, studying at Touro University and earning a BA in communication and language disorders in 2009. She subsequently continued her studies at Montclair State University, where she achieved an MA in the same area of study in 2011. In addition to her academic credentials, she has worked with the Great Game of Business to implement open book management at SLEA Therapies and has completed PEERS training through UCLA. Well-regarded for her achievements in the field, Ms. Barak received Top Leadership in 2025, and SLEA Therapies received Top Healthcare Workplace of 2025. In light of her fulfilling career, she has largely attributed her success to the love and support of her parents, who constantly encouraged her and fostered her dedicated work ethic and desire to help others, her husband who has supported her throughout life and career, and her four children who remind her how important it is to help shape the next generation and the future through the work that she does. In accounting for her accomplishments, Ms. Barak is particularly proud of her work in mentoring new therapists.
