176 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING Matthew Jesse Moore is the owner and president of Moore Engineering & Consulting, a construction and engineering firm that has been offering clients comprehensive structural engineering services since 2024. He celebrates more than 15 years of success in engineering and construction, beginning as a teenager when he started working for a local contractor. He went on to study architectural and structural engineering at the University of Wyoming and holds a Professional Engineer license. Between 2006 and 2013, Mr. Moore gained experience working as a logsmith and carpenter for Lee’s Custom Design, practical experience that deepened his love for buildings and construction. He began working as an engineer for Schneider & Associates Structural Engineers in 2015 and moved on to a staff engineer role for Mosaic Engineering and Consulting, a national firm with offices around the United States, the following year. During his time with Mosaic, he rose to become a project engineer and then a project engineer II, earning a reputation for versatility and professional excellence over the course of his nine-year tenure. In 2024, Mr. Moore pursued a move to Alaska to start his business and take advantage of the need for structural engineering services throughout the region. He considers his entrepreneurial project to be his greatest accomplishment and looks forward to continuing to build a client base and explore opportunities for growth in the area. He attributes his success to the support of his family and his many professional mentors, emphasizing the importance of maintaining strong working relationships with others.
