Dr. Handon attributes her success to her professionalism and networking skills and plans to prioritize the growth of her company over the next five to 10 years. She has published topics in social work and disability advocacy and is a coach for The Ohio State University Disability Team, where she serves as a peer coach to participants recovering from strokes. as the civil service commissioner for the City of Whitehall between 2012 and 2020, underscoring her commitment to the public good. Throughout her social work career, Dr. Handon found her work to be a passion and felt called to serve others. As a part of her dedication to service and promoting the future of the field, she became a lecturer at The Ohio State University’s College of Social Work in 2009, launching her career as an educator.
