23 Millennium - Twenty-first Edition ACADEMIA, EDUCATION AND EDUCATIONAL SERVICES Angie Mosley is a dynamic and committed community leader based in Seattle, known for her passion for creating safe, inclusive spaces where others can thrive physically, emotionally and socially, as well as for her work in education, wellness and mentorship. She is the founder and chief executive officer of Double Dutch Divas LLC, a for-profit organization dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles through double Dutch jump rope. Founded in 2021 and featured in media outlets and by organizations nationwide, the company is united by a love for double Dutch and a commitment to uplifting the community. Ms. Mosley also founded AMT UP 3D, a nonprofit focused on mentorship, health and community empowerment. Ms. Mosley has dedicated her career to working with children and young adults to create opportunities and form safe and meaningful community connections. She earned an AAS in business information technology from South Seattle Community College and certifications in teaching, crisis prevention, conflict management, first aid and peer counseling. Her first youth services role was as a customer service representative at the Seattle DSHS Office. She worked through the summer youth employment program as a customer service representative and served as a recreation leader III for the Cities of Seattle, Tukwila and SeaTac, where she realized her potential to make a difference in the lives of program participants. Since 2011, Ms. Mosley has served in the special education department within the Seattle School District. She has provided paraprofessional services at Rainier View Elementary School, Denny Middle School, Chief Sealth High School and the Bridges School, providing instructional support and union leadership. She is also a one-on-one paraprofessional and has provided service for a student since he was 5 years old. The recipient of the 2023 Unsung Hero Award, the 2024 American Black Standard of Excellence Award and the 2025 Black-Owned Business and Excellence Award, among other accolades, Ms. Mosley attributes her success to her compassion and determination to overcome challenges. She looks forward to continuing to grow as a professional and hopes to remain with Seattle Public Schools for the rest of her career.
