Previously, Mr. Corbit worked as a content strategist and social media marketing specialist at Prism MarketView starting in 2022. Drawing upon coursework at Mitchell College, he also earned several certifications through Noble Desktop, including TikTok marketing, digital marketing strategy, web fundamentals, WordPress blog creation and Google AdSense implementation. He attributes much of his success to the support from his family and the opportunities they have given him over the years. In this regard, Mr. Corbit highlights the importance of his family’s patience and understanding, which have been vital in his career journey. Mr. Corbit entered the corporate world less than a decade ago after working as an independent contractor in construction and home renovations. However, after sustaining an injury that temporarily left him unable to walk, he reevaluated his career options. When offered the opportunity to complete social media management projects for a family member, Mr. Corbit recognized his deep understanding of social media platforms and aimed to grow his skills. Among his many career accomplishments, he is especially proud of transitioning from a hands-on labor background to a corporate environment, where he has used his skills to become an integral part of his organization. Looking ahead, Mr. Corbit plans to improve his media curation skills and pursue personal and professional growth. He also hopes to eventually start his own business with his sister.
