Additionally, she served as the executive vice president at Goldstein Financial Group LLC from 2001 to 2012 after previously working as a case design manager at The Orchard Group and a case designer at J.R. Katz. A former financial analyst at both The Ayco Corporation and Harvey M. King and Associates during the mid1980s to late 1990s, Ms. Harter began her career in 1980 as a probate administrative assistant at The Harris Bank. Highly educated, Ms. Harter earned a Bachelor of Commerce in business administration and economics, graduating cum laude from DePaul University in 1984. She also completed coursework in economics and business at the University of Wisconsin, as well as in Spanish, business and economics at the Madrid campus of Saint Louis University. Notably, Ms. Harter is a Chartered Financial Consultant® and Certified Financial Planner with Series 7 and 56 licenses. Ms. Harter takes great pride in her role as the leader of the School of Excellence, focusing on enhancing relationships between producers and insurance companies. Serving on its board from 2002 to 2007, Ms. Harter helped educate administrative staff and finance professionals and became involved in initiatives to teach law firms about maintaining proper life insurance coverage and ensuring proper planning. Outside her profession, Ms. Harter is a triathlete and has participated in several triathlons over the past 15 years. For over 40 years, Leigh Harter has excelled in finance, insurance and business management, now serving as the managing director at NFP, an Aon Company.
