As an expert in the unique needs of airport and travel infrastructure construction, he has published and presented extensively in outlets, including the European Journal of Research and Development and the International Journal of Arts, Humanities, and Management Studies. Dr. Gelisen has further held leadership roles in professional organizations, including the Society of Turkish American Architects, Engineers, and Scientists Inc., the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Fritz Engineering Research Society, and he remains an active member of numerous other groups.
