Williams, CPA, is a certified public accountant and the principal of WilliamsMae, an accounting and business management consulting firm established in 2020. As an award-winning financial professional, she celebrates more than 25 years of industry expertise and has been featured in media outlets, including Extraordinary Women on Boards’ Top 100 list. Ms. Williams attended the University of Utah, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2005 and a Master of Accounting the following year. Ms. Williams began her career in 1999 as an operations security assistant for the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation, where she would remain for the next five years. In 2004, she became a senior associate of Grant Thornton LLP, departing in 2008 to join Basic Research as a finance manager. Throughout the 2010s, she continued to build her career with some of the leading companies in the sector, including one year with Goldman Sachs and a term as a senior assurance associate at PwC. Between 2018 and 2019, she served as a manager of CFO services for Brixley & Meyer, stepping down to focus on the launch of her company. At WilliamsMae, Ms. Williams oversees corporate operations and strategy, including compliance, financial planning and compensation, and managing the board. She attributes her success to her work ethic and the support of the teams she has worked with throughout her career and looks forward to continued personal and professional growth over the next decade. Outside her work with WilliamsMae, Ms. Williams is a member of the board and audit committee chair at Freedom Holding Corp. and a dedicated supporter of several area nonprofits. AMBER M.
