The Woodlands, TX LARA HANNEMAN A natural entrepreneur with a flair for design, Lara Hanneman is the owner of the Cauldron Spirits and Brews, a restaurant and community hub that cultivates an inviting, warm atmosphere for locals and visitors alike. Established in 2018, the restaurant has garnered much acclaim in recent years due to its strong social media presence. Desiring to start her own business in the latter stages of her career, Ms. Hanneman departed from the corporate sector, where she had previously worked in artistic design for many decades. To this end, she was a senior designer at T. Edward Designs, the director of entertainment production at Knott’s Berry Farm, a conceptual artist and draftsman at Isis Design Inc., and the principal creative designer at Think Better Design LLC, among other roles. While serving at Knott’s Berry Farm, Ms. Hanneman designed restaurants, rides, zones and other pertinent areas. Notably, she helmed and designed the farm’s Halloween Haunt, which she cites as one of her greatest achievements. Looking ahead, she aims to expand her business to new cities and collaborate with like-minded entrepreneurs to develop more restaurants that possess the same inviting environment. Leveraging over 15 years of experience, Matt Hester has excelled as the vice president of finance, industrial chemicals and low carbon energy at TETRA Technologies Inc. since 2022. In his leadership role, he utilizes his skills in number interpretation and strategic thinking to advise the company on financial performance, new initiatives, business objectives and investment opportunities. Previously, Mr. Hester operated as a senior manager at Kraton Corporation from 2018 to 2022, during which time he notably participated in a massive merger deal, showcasing his leadership ability and strategic vision. At the onset of his vocational journey, Mr. Hester worked at alliantgroup as an associate from 2007 to 2009 and as a project manager between 2009 and 2010, gaining vital, early experience in the field. Beforehand, he studied at Texas Tech University and earned a BA in 2007. Continuing his education during the early stages of his tenure in the field, he ultimately achieved an MBA in energy finance at Tulane University in 2014.
