201 Millennium - Twenty-first Edition SOCIAL WORK, PUBLIC SERVICE, NONPROFIT AND HUMANITIES Ashley C. Piercy is the chief operating officer for Alliance Health Centers, where her work focuses on a broad range of talent management and human services functions, including strategic development and project management. Long drawn to human services, she began her career studying elementary education at Ivy Tech Community College before pivoting to the nonprofit sector. Between 2011 and 2017, she worked in Mexico City with anti-trafficking organization YWAM Centro, departing to become a project coordinator for El Pozo de Vida, where she would remain until 2021. After returning to the United States, Ms. Piercy continued her work in social services with immigrants and refugees as a victim advocate for Amani Family Services, rising to become an associate victim care program manager after one year in the role. In 2023, she joined Alliance Health Centers as a registration specialist and patient experience manager. During this time, Ms. Piercy continued her education through Purdue Global, graduating summa cum laude in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in human services. In addition to her current position with Alliance Health Centers, Ms. Piercy has maintained a concurrent role as a medical interpretation trainer for MCA Interpreters from 2022 to 2025. Ms. Piercy attributes her success to the many mentors and professional guides who have supported her development at every stage of her career. She is proud to have dedicated her career to serving at-risk populations and reducing institutional barriers to health care access, and she hopes to become part of the development of a national clinic model akin to Alliance Health Centers. Outside her work in health services, Ms. Piercy was a member of the board of YMCA Child Care Services and has been an active speaker and presenter on human trafficking. ASHLEY C.
