He joined the U.S. General Services Administration in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2014 as a project manager. Commencing his career in 1990, Mr. Riley served in the United States Air Force until departing from military service in August 2014. Retiring at the rank of master sergeant (E-7), he was offered a promotion to E-8; however, he declined the opportunity to prioritize his family commitments. During his longstanding tenure, Mr. Riley served as a cable and antenna technician at Aviano Air Base in Italy, a contingency instructor at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, and a group civil engineer at Kadena Air Base in Japan, where he led the reconstruction of a $250 million special operations group complex. He also served as a superintendent at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona, honing his skills in construction management and engineering operations. Mr. Riley obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in project management from Colorado Technical University in 2010. Subsequently, he earned an MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2013 and a Master of Science in construction management and technology from Arizona State University in 2021. Currently, he is pursuing a DBA in project management at Liberty University, which he aims to acquire soon. Mr. Riley is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and obtained credentials as a level III contracting officer’s representative. He also received a senior-level program management certification from the Federal Acquisition Institute and several certificates in generative AI through the Project Management Institute. Looking ahead, he is eager to advance to a higher leadership role in the U.S. General Services Administration. Robin Lynn Riley is celebrated for his decades-long tenure in project management, construction and military service, culminating in his current role as a senior project manager in the leasing division of the U.S. General Services Administration in Dallas. Since 2019, he has managed several projects characterized by high political or financial risk involving spaces upwards of 10,000 square feet.
