Earlier in her career, Ms. Huffman served with The Dow Chemical Company beginning in 2009 after completing their cooperative program. Joining the organization as a senior administrative assistant, she progressed through the ranks, focusing on intellectual property law, patent applications, license agreements, confidentiality agreements and technical case filings. From 2017 until departing from Dow in 2023, Ms. Huffman served as a paralegal. She commenced her career in 2006 while completing the cooperative program at the Law Office of Steve Wilsey, which established the foundation for her future success. There, she discovered her passion for intellectual property law. Ms. Huffman holds an associate degree in business administration and management from Brazosport College, which she earned in 2009. She subsequently received a bachelor's degree in legal studies from the University of HoustonClear Lake in 2016, which also bestowed upon her a mediation certificate, which she has leveraged during her tenure as a paralegal. In the coming years, Ms. Huffman endeavors to advance through the ranks at Celanese Corporation and further refine her professional growth.
