120 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine MEDICINE, HEALTH CARE AND WELLNESS For much of his 30-plus-year professional life, Louis Drew Columbus has worked as an office manager and sales consultant at companies such as Wolf Lake Technical Service, Saturn of Clarkston and Vic Canever. However, by 2016, he was struggling to find fulfillment in his sales work. When an opportunity arose that year to join HearingLife, Mr. Columbus embraced it. He was drawn to the company’s commitment to helping people with hearing loss at 600 clinics across the United States. Serving as a hearing care professional since 2016, Mr. Columbus has become an essential part of that mission. His HearingLife location has been one of only approximately 40 of the company’s clinics to achieve more than $1 million in sales each year. Mr. Columbus has single-handedly achieved $1.3 million in sales over the last two years, averaging $750,000 per year. His contributions were celebrated when HearingLife awarded him membership in the President’s Club in 2023 and 2024. Now deeply satisfied with his revitalized career, Mr. Columbus finds it gratifying to facilitate rapid, meaningful change in the lives of some of the 450 million people worldwide who experience hearing loss. In addition to simply improving hearing, he notes that recent studies have shown that even mild, untreated hearing loss can significantly increase the likelihood of developing dementia. Dedicated to civic advocacy beyond his primary vocation, Mr. Columbus supports the wider community through his passion for athletics. He has held the position of assistant coach for the Grand Blanc Gladiators and head coach for Foutch Baseball and Mayhem Baseball. He also serves as an ambassador for the Fenton Regional Chamber of Commerce. Outside of his professional journey, Mr. Columbus is a devoted husband and a loving father to two sons, one of whom works alongside him as a hearing specialist with HearingLife. Looking forward to continued growth with HearingLife, Mr. Columbus hopes to transition into a management role within the company in the years ahead.
