ANDERSON, MD, FACC Dr. David R. Anderson has served as an interventional cardiologist at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Sacramento, California, since 2022. He was recently elected as a senior partner, with peers highlighting his procedural skills and thoughtful approach to patient care. His group handles one of the highest volumes of heart attack patients in California while maintaining a GOLD star for outcomes. In 2017, Dr. Anderson earned his MD at the University of California Davis School of Medicine, located in Sacramento. After completing nine years of training at the University of California San Francisco, he is now board-certified in internal medicine, general cardiology and interventional cardiology, returning to Sacramento for family and what he calls “the perfect interventional cardiology job.” Among his accomplishments, Dr. Anderson played a key role in establishing the first microvascular coronary testing program in the Sacramento Valley. He currently contributes as the director of the hospital’s cardiac catheterization education program. In the years ahead, Dr. Anderson is eager to take on a leadership role in a new Kaiser Railyards Sacramento tertiary care medical center, which will serve as a hub for comprehensive cardiovascular health. Sandra M. Bogenrief is distinguished in health care for her longstanding tenure in nursing, culminating in her current role as a nursing educator at APEI/Rasmussen University. As the dean of nursing at Rasmussen University in the Minneapolis region since 2016, she also served as faculty at the institution and its Blaine campus. Moreover, since 2010, she has served as an education presenter for The Wellness Company, informing audiences on key topics in wellness. Earlier, Ms. Bogenrief was a legal nurse consultant, nurse and paralegal at Lommen, Abdo, Cole, King & Stageberg, P.A., and a nurse consultant, national speaker and patient advocate at Oneka Medical Legal Consulting LLC. Likewise, she worked in emergency services and in the operating room at Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center, as a registered nurse and assistant manager at the DeVita Vascular Access Outpatient Surgery Clinic, as a registered nurse in the operating room and intensive care unit at Hennepin County Medical Center, and as an operating room nurse at Regions Hospital.
