Since 2017, he has been responsible for safeguarding sensitive employee information and service data, as well as detecting and successfully thwarting attacks on infrastructure and personnel. Notably, the IDC Group has recognized him as one of the top chief information security officers in the industry, owing to his excellence in cybersecurity principles, protocol and preventive measures. In addition to his responsibilities at The Auto Club Group, Mr. Padinjaruveetil has actively participated in an industry-wide initiative known as the Cybersecurity Workforce Alliance, through which he delivers cybersecurity insider threat curricula at universities across the United States. Earlier in his career, Mr. Padinjaruveetil was employed at Capgemini, an international business and technology firm, between 2003 and 2017. He joined the organization as an enterprise architect in the New York City office, where he was responsible for designing complex information technology (IT) architectures until 2005. From 2006 until his departure in 2017, he served as a global cybersecurity thought leader and strategist in Detroit. Previously, Mr. Padinjaruveetil held the position of technical lead at Ness Global Solutions from 2002 to 2003 and served as deputy manager at Pentasoft in Chennai, India, from 1998 to 2000. He commenced his career as a chemist at Madras Fertilizers Ltd. in Chennai, where he worked for 13 years prior to pivoting his focus to IT. Mr. Padinjaruveetil possesses a distinguished academic background with multiple advanced degrees. During his residence in India, he graduated from Madras University with a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry in 1982. Subsequent to gaining practical experience in his field, he obtained a Bachelor of Laws from Madras Law College in 1995 and a Master of Business Administration in organizational behavior from Indira Gandhi National Open University in New Delhi, India, in 1997.
