147 Millennium - Twenty-second Edition SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING 2022, he has conducted research on synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image processing, aiming to enhance signal strength and refine SAR images by reducing clutter for improved resolution. Notably, the program has been funding Mr. Evans’ prospective PhD in signal processing since 2022, which he aims to complete at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque in the near future. Concurrently, Mr. Evans has served as a teaching assistant in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of New Mexico since 2017 and as a graduate doctoral electrical engineer, specializing in signal processing and SAR radar, at Sandia National Laboratories since 2022. Earlier in his career, he completed a research internship at the Air Force Research Laboratory in 2020 and 2021 and was an office assistant II in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of New Mexico from 2017 to 2018. Moreover, Mr. Evans lent his expertise to the University of North Texas from 2005 to 2013, teaching music theory, drawing from his formative experiences with music. His foundational experiences include working for the UCI Computer Store, Rockwell International and Hughes Aircraft Company. Highly educated, Mr. Evans holds a BS in physics, a BS in mathematics, and a BA in music theory and composition from the University of California Irvine, as well as an MS in (elementary particle) physics from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. He also completed an MMus in music theory and composition and an MS in electrical (communications and signal processing) engineering at California State University, Fullerton. Looking ahead, Mr. Evans aims to continue experiencing the success of his career and looks forward to preparing presentations for leading industry conferences, which will lead him toward his PhD at the University of New Mexico. Bradley David Evans is respected in the realms of engineering, academia and research, culminating in his role as an intern in the NNSA-IMPACT/ Minority Serving Institution Internship Program within the National Nuclear Security Administration at Sandia National Laboratories, part of the U.S. Department of Energy.
