In her dual roles, Ms. Pinter leads efforts to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research and meets with medical professionals and donors. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, her leadership was pivotal in keeping the organization active when many others faced closures. During this crucial time, she recognized the increase in pediatric cancer diagnoses and guided her team to achieve their most successful fundraising year to date. Earlier in her career, Ms. Pinter served the MACC Fund as its chief operating officer from 2007 to 2019, where she was involved in donor relations and program development. She joined the MACC Fund in 2002 as a volunteer and notably served on the Women for MACC Board while pursuing higher education. Highly educated, Ms. Pinter holds a Bachelor of Arts from Cardinal Church University and a Master of Science from Cardinal Stritch University. She also completed coursework in executive education at the Harvard Kennedy School of Executive Education. Outside of her professional ventures, Ms. Pinter demonstrated her commitment to her community, having served on the advisory board and executive committee for the UW Health Carbone Cancer Center and the advisory board for the UW Health American Family Children’s Hospital. As a testament to her success, Ms. Pinter was selected for inclusion in the 40 Under 40 list, underscoring her leadership prowess and unwavering dedication to improving the lives of children with cancer and their families. Looking ahead, she aims to increase financial support for research and drive continuous advancements in treatment, survivorship care and quality of life. Becky Pinter’s dedication to child welfare and nonprofit leadership is exemplified by her current role as the president and chief executive officer of the MACC Fund, a charitable organization that endeavors to fund innovative treatments and support services for children diagnosed with cancer or blood disorders.
