32 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ARCHITECTURE, CONSTRUCTION, DESIGN AND REAL ESTATE Will Durrett is a rancher and livestock industry expert currently serving as an associate broker for Republic Ranches and manager of his independent venture, Durrett Cattle. With roots reaching back to the 1950s, Durrett Cattle is a cow/calf and yearling cattle production operation. Mr. Durrett takes on an active role in all aspects of daily operation, overseeing farm and ranch duties while raising cattle and quarter horses. Although primarily a ranching operation, the business has long incorporated a real estate arm. Mr. Durrett’s father has been a licensed real estate broker since the 1970s, paving the way for his own entry into the industry. In addition to his work with Republic Ranches and Durrett Cattle, Mr. Durrett has been a marketing representative for Superior Livestock Auction, North America’s largest cattle marketing association, since 2012. During his tenure, he sold and delivered more than 25,000 cattle in a single year, an accomplishment he considers a testament to his career growth. Among his other responsibilities, Mr. Durrett oversees seven full-time employees and markets cattle for more than 100 clients throughout Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma. Mr. Durrett holds a Bachelor of Science in geology and environmental studies from Baylor University and credits his long-term professional success to his integrity and reliability. He is a lifetime member of the Wild Sheep Foundation and is active in the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and the New Mexico Farm and Livestock Bureau. He attributes his professional success to the relationships he has built throughout his career and the respect he has for those with whom he interacts.
