34 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ARCHITECTURE, CONSTRUCTION, DESIGN AND REAL ESTATE A lifelong learner, specialist in urban planning, author and consultant, Dr. Mora Kestelman currently serves as an urbanism, territory and environment superior institute honorary member at the University of Buenos Aires. Joining the institution in 2011, Dr. Kestelman is also an alumnus of the university, having undergone extensive coursework and received a myriad of degrees. In this regard, she completed coursework in heuristics and building information modeling, having thereafter received a master’s degree in habitat and urban poverty in Latin America. Subsequently, she completed additional coursework in architecture, planning and design before being awarded a PhD in social sciences. Following the receipt of her doctoral degree, Dr. Kestelman completed postgraduate studies in cultural heritage management. To this end, she has earned several licenses, including a realtor license and an architect license. She is also a licensed professional via the Professional Council of Architecture and Urban Planning. Outside of her academic and professional ventures, Dr. Kestelman has also served as a senior consultant since 2004. She previously lent her expertise to the National Department of Urbanism in Argentina as an adjunct professor and to the National Urban Housing Department as an assessor. Over the course of her career, she has taught doctoral studies in architecture using interdisciplinary methodologies. Having been well-established in Argentina, Dr. Kestelman intends to expand the scope of her research and practice to the United States with an aggressive marketing strategy in San Francisco, California. As such, she aims to build her scientific methodology, including various brands and hardware restoration, to promote her patent, which aids designers and clients in managing their projects. Furthermore, she is the author of the forthcoming book, “The Cracks We Didn’t See,” in which she exposes challenges for the actor-networks theory toward its environment within the field of neuroscience. Dr. Kestelman was honored with the Best Interior Design Award in 2019 and was the first honorable mention by Latin America’s Top Designers via CASA FOA in 2018. In the coming years, she would like to be a catalyst for change in society, leveraging her scientific methodologies and patents.
