38 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ARCHITECTURE, CONSTRUCTION, DESIGN AND REAL ESTATE ACCOUNTANT, OFFICE MANAGER, CORPORATE SECRETARY O’Keefe Drilling Butte, MT Reid Mitchell draws upon 10 years of excellence in program management, construction and engineering, culminating in his role as a project management consultant at Turner & Townsend Heery, a project management firm serving public organizations such as schools, health care facilities and cultural institutions. Since 2024, he has maintained responsibility for liaising with school officials, coordinating with the Dallas Independent School District staff, and managing school construction projects from inception to completion. Earlier in his career, Mr. Mitchell served as a development project manager at The Dimension Group, an associate project manager and environmental sampling professional at Kleinfelder, and an engineering intern in the Office of the County Engineer in Harris County, Texas. Highly educated, Mr. Mitchell holds a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering, with a minor in business, from Rice University, where he also served as a research assistant. He also completed an MBA at Western Governors University in 2021. A member of the Texas Young Professionals of Dallas and the Association of Rice University Black Alumni, Mr. Mitchell looks forward to continued career success in the coming years. When Jaclyn O’Connor Giop began her career at O’Keefe Drilling in 2006, she knew she would face challenges working in a predominantly male field. However, her perseverance has established her prominence in corporate accounting within the construction industry and earned the respect of her colleagues nationwide. Ms. Giop oversees O’Keefe Drilling’s finances, manages bids, coordinates scheduling, assists with human resources and directs marketing efforts. She is a critical force behind the organization’s operational efficiency and financial stability. Ms. Giop emphasizes the importance of saying yes to opportunities, as evident in her professional development and involvement. In 2026, she will begin her term as president of the Montana Contractors Association (MCA) Education Foundation, having served on the board since 2018. She previously served as the first female president of the Montana Water Well Drillers Association and is a member of numerous other professional and service organizations. Moving forward, Ms. Giop aims to help more women advance in the construction industry and other trades, beginning with her two teenage children. She encourages them to seize every opportunity and to never let anyone else dictate what they can and cannot do.
