Cementing his legacy as an artist, educator and writer driven by his creative spirit, he is well-recognized in the areas of visual arts, painting, drawing and printmaking. He has also contributed his expertise as a lecturer and speaker at several institutions worldwide, most recently including the Scuola Grande of San Teodoro in Venice, Italy, in 2024, where he served as a guest lecturer. To disseminate his knowledge to others, Mr. Mann worked with the Palazzo Barbarigo Minotto in Venice in 2015 and was invited to speak before the Educational Alliance in 2010 and the Interchurch Center in 2011, both in New York. Alongside these appointments, Mr. Mann was a visiting artist for Art Works 4 Charity in New York between 2016 and 2019, having held similar roles with esteemed art organizations in the earlier stages of his career. To this end, he also served as the executive director of the Basic Arts Network from 1989 to 1991 and Collaborative Projects Inc. from 1986 to 1988. Mr. Mann has been professionally affiliated with various other organizations that promote contemporary art practices, having been an honorary associate member of Accademia Italia in Arte nel Mondo Associazione Culturale since 2017 and a life member of the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) since 2018. Similarly, he has represented the United States at international art events in Venice, including Personal Structures-Identities at the Venice Biennale in 2019 and the Venice International Phoenix Prize for the Arts in 2024. Mr. Mann’s impressive body of artistic work has been featured in exhibitions across the globe, particularly in New York, London, Amsterdam and Berlin. In more recent years, he was featured in the Annual Exhibition of the Federation of Modern Painters and Sculptors at the Prince Street Gallery in New York in 2024 and at the Primavera en Madrid Exhibition at Espacio Cultural Abierto in Madrid, Spain, in 2023. Furthermore, as a talented author, he contributed to “The International Dictionary of Artists” in 2011 and “Then and Now: The American Society of Contemporary Artists” in 2012.
