During this tenure, she played a crucial role following the events of September 11, 2001, remaining on-site with the county’s board of representatives to provide direct advice despite widespread uncertainty about potential threats to government sites. She considers this period to be a highlight of her career. In 2005, she was a temporary caseworker for Tompkins County, where she joined the Ithaca drug court treatment team and assisted families affected by substance use disorders. In the coming years, Ms. Arndt intends to grow in her role as a brand consultant and become a go-to resource for clients endeavoring to improve their business processes. Naomi K. Arndt is respected for her multifaceted approach to business development as a freelance brand consultant. Since 2025, she has offered her expertise in branding and consulting, providing customized services to clients to help them successfully navigate their careers and develop solutions to administrative challenges. Additionally, she provides business consultancy and research services to clients, ensuring that they receive informed guidance and support for their decision-making processes. Alongside this appointment, Ms. Arndt has been a generalist business consultant since 2004, providing similar support and comprehensive research to a diverse client base. Earlier in her career, she was a research assistant at her alma mater, Empire State University, where she also earned an MBA in 2023.
