Ashley is celebrated in finance for his tenure in insurance services, culminating in his role as a financial professional at New York Life Insurance Company. Since 2010, he has developed tailored investment strategies*, maintained existing client relationships and fostered new ones through client referrals. With over 15 years of experience, he was twice named to the President’s Council, earned the Million Dollar Round Table** distinction, and was honored as Agent of the Year at his office on two occasions. He earned five Executive Council*** Awards from New York Life Insurance Company in 2025. Mr. Ashley previously served with The HON Company as the director of marketing and director of national accounts, overseeing the company’s growth during a challenging economic period. He also worked for Thomson as general manager of the flat panel business and general manager of national accounts, and formerly served as vice president and general manager of dealer sales for RCA and GE Consumer Electronics. He commenced his career at GE in the major appliance and electronics industry in Chicago, advancing through multiple positions before relocating to Los Angeles, New York and Arizona. Mr. Ashley holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, testifying to his success and good standing. He credits much of his success to his upbringing in Cleveland, where he was raised by a family focused on perseverance and hard work. His mother was the first African American laboratory technician at the Cleveland Clinic, and his father maintained several entrepreneurial ventures while a chef at Standard Oil. Mr. Ashley’s drive to succeed was influenced by these formative experiences, inspiring him to serve as a mentor to other professionals.
