Barrett Jr. is widely respected in the field of investments, culminating in his present role as the founding partner and senior principal at Xerxes Capital Partners. Founding the firm in 2024, he maintains responsibility for conducting research on potential acquisition targets, performing due diligence on small companies and franchises, and monitoring industry trends and competitor activity. With an early interest in entrepreneurship, Mr. Barrett found great appeal in acquiring and developing established businesses, where he has excelled in streamlining their processes and driving significant growth. Although he has experienced many career highlights, Mr. Barrett is especially proud of attending business school during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, earning an MBA from Babson College in 2023. He also takes much pride in founding Xerxes Capital Partners, which has strengthened his presence in the investment sector. To this end, Mr. Barrett has demonstrated exceptional expertise in finance and identifying opportunities in sustainable ventures. He attributes much of his present success to his commitment to his job, diligent work ethic and perseverance. In addition to his current endeavors, Mr. Barrett serves as an angel investor with Blue Angels Investment Group and SeaAhead Inc. and is the founder and principal of Green Marine. Earlier in his career, he served as a senior software solutions analyst at Veson Nautical, a commercial operator of term charters, sales and purchase at Poten & Partners, and a trader at The Noble Group. He commenced his career as an intern at both Horizon Capital LLP and Bloomberg LP in 2007, following his graduation with a BA from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Looking ahead, Mr. Barrett is focused on contributing to sustainable investments, aligning his business with a dedication to environmental and social responsibility.
