In her role, she manages a team of 30 agents to expand the breadth and scope of the organization, often recruiting new talent to pass on her decades of expertise and cement her legacy in the field. With a steadfast focus on agent development and a holistic approach to helping clients, Ms. Leslie specializes in life insurance, health insurance and Medicare planning. Earlier in her career, Ms. Leslie worked for a diverse range of companies across the areas of scientific research, government services and entrepreneurship, including tenures as a chemist with the Environmental Protection Agency and a scientist with the National Cancer Institute, as well as agent and managerial roles at Pitney Bowes. During her longstanding tenure, she accepted six President’s Club awards as a top agent and manager. Thereafter, Ms. Leslie partnered with MassMutual to undergo extensive training in insurance practices, which laid the foundation for her subsequent success with Chesapeake Benefits Group. As a testament to her success, she has earned top sales awards from Delmarva Benefit Group and United Healthcare, as well as recognition and achievement awards from other prominent organizations. Outside of her professional ventures, Ms. Leslie served as an education chair for the NAACP during the economic recession and as a parent guide in recruiting education professionals across her county. Likewise, she has delivered financial literacy education to middle school students and supported local senior provider networks, church initiatives and food pantries. Ms. Leslie attributes much of her success to her commitment to harnessing both her personal and professional growth, as well as accepting constructive criticism from colleagues. Looking ahead, she aims to continue advancing in her career while focusing on agent development.
