To this end, Mr. King has been able to commit himself fully to Vietnam veterans facing issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder and Agent Orange exposure. As a testament to his success, Mr. King has been honored on several occasions. In 2015, he earned the National Commendation Medal from Vietnam Veterans of America in light of his unwavering service and advocacy on behalf of veterans. Looking toward the future, Mr. King aims to continue supporting veteran-owned businesses through the NVBDC. and as a certified veteran-owned business from the Center for Verification and Evaluation at the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. Impressively, Mr. King has been a certified researcher through the CITI Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative since 2012. A published author as well, Mr. King wrote “VetLikeMe” to share his knowledge of and experience with military service, particularly during the Vietnam War.
