This conviction has been the foundation of his 52year career in the Chamber of Commerce industry. Mr. Richards is president and chief executive officer of the Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce in Indiana, a position he has held for two decades. He brings new business to the area and advocates before local, state and national government officials on issues that would benefit the business community. His passion for his work shines through his numerous public speaking engagements, which include presentations before four U.S. presidents, three prime ministers and the premier of China. Throughout his career, Mr. Richards has led seven chambers in three states. His most notable achievement came while running the Kansas City Chamber, when he recruited a General Motors assembly plant to the area. The $1.5 billion investment employed about 3,000 people. Mr. Richards was inducted into the Indiana Business Hall of Fame in 2024 and named the Indiana Chamber President of the Year in 2012. Known as a sound business adviser, he has also held numerous board positions. Upon immigrating to America from India in 2021, Suvaleena Paul promised her mother she would not return until she secured a job at Bank of America. Driven by her determination, she achieved this goal just one year later and is now the assistant vice president of fraud analytics. Ms. Paul enjoyed coding and excelled in computer science throughout school, ranking fourth in the national Computer Olympiad in eighth grade and scoring in the 98th percentile in the subject as a school sophomore. An internship at Goldman Sachs launched her career in the financial sector, and her success has been bolstered by her strong attention to detail, ability to spot patterns and eidetic memory. At Bank of America, Ms. Paul implemented a set of clear rules to prevent fraud, resulting in millions of dollars in savings. She also recently led a major project to automate a process that saves about six to seven hours each month, which other teams are now interested in copying. Ms. Paul has an unquenchable thirst for achievement and excellence. She strives to make a meaningful impact on her organization as she continues advancing her career.
