Mr. Gerber’s mother-in-law was instrumental in his career, as she initially told him about the free hospital training program. He was part of a twoyear program with six women, and they worked closely throughout their training. Radiologic technology proved to be a good fit for him, as it offered opportunities to branch out into related areas such as CT scans, MRIs, ECGs and other forms of imaging. Reflecting on his career, Mr. Gerber recognizes how far he has come and takes pride in the life he has built. Early positions in cardiac catheterization laboratories gave him the opportunity to help save lives, while the experience he gained facilitated a smooth transition into sales. In working with medical practitioners and providers, he has enabled them to improve patient outcomes. In retirement, Mr. Gerber aims to continue serving others through charitable work. He is an avid cook and hopes to volunteer with community kitchens and other organizations to provide meals for those in need. in him values such as integrity and dedication that have guided his career. As a result, he emphasizes the importance of building relationships and maintaining honesty. Much of Mr. Gerber’s success lies in his ability to prioritize customer satisfaction over profit and understand clients’ perspectives. He takes great pride in his work and is guided by a customerfocused approach that, over his 40-year career, has fostered loyalty and contributed to his professional success. With a knack for transforming customers into friends, Mr. Gerber’s success lies in his commitment to respect, follow-through and honesty. While other companies might have offered better products at times, he was able to maintain client loyalty due to the reliability and quality of service he offered. In the next few years, Mr. Gerber is eyeing retirement, during which he intends to travel more with his wife. The couple met as teenagers at a mom-and-pop restaurant where they both worked while attending school, he to become an X-ray technician and she to become a nurse.
