She then earned an MA and a PsyD in clinical psychology from Alliant International University in 2010 and 2012, respectively. The following year, she was a postdoctoral resident at American Addiction Centers, where she worked with adults with addiction and mental illness. At the inception of her career in 2013, Dr. Osei was an adjunct professor at Indian River State College, followed by appointments as adjunct faculty at Southern Polytechnic State University and Kennesaw State University between 2015 and 2016. She was then a faculty member at Georgia State University before departing from academia in 2019. Concurrently, Dr. Osei became chief executive officer of Concierge Psychology, P.C., in Atlanta in 2014, where she also served as a clinical psychologist. Since that time, Dr. Osei has grown Concierge Psychology into a bicoastal and inter-state practice, with offices in Atlanta and Los Angeles, and offering telehealth services across the nation. Dr. Osei’s practice took a novel approach to clinical psychology, as she provided concierge mental health services. She became a registered health service psychologist through the National Register of Health Service Psychologists in 2015 and a board-certified specialist in clinical psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology in 2019. She maintains affiliation with the American, California and Georgia Psychological Associations. She has also shared her knowledge as a speaker and has been featured in documentaries and on local news networks. Dr. Osei was named among the Three Best Psychologists in Atlanta for five consecutive years and has earned herself and her practice innumerable awards and recognitions. Even as a youth, Dr. Rebecca Johnson Osei was always an individual that others turned to for support. She developed an early interest in medicine, seeking to understand how the human body, and later the humanmind, worked.
