Throughout the years, Curry Pizza has earned several accolades and honors, including being named among the Top 100 Restaurants in the United States by Yelp in 2020. Emphasizing that his ambition to open a restaurant was the culmination of the American Dream, Mr. Singh also owns two other restaurants with his family, and notes that his businesses are always family-owned and community-based. His ultimate career highlight has been seeing his customers satisfied with his products, and he holds great pride in the exceptional customer service offered to everyone who enters his doors. Curry Pizza has three locations in Utah: West Valley, South Jordan and Bicknell. Hailing from a similar familial path, Mr. Singh’s parents also own a restaurant titled Indian Palace. Curry Pizza has been recognized extensively in the media, including in various newspapers in the State of Utah, and was named The Best of the State of Utah in November 2019. Additionally, Curry Pizza has won several County Awards and was highlighted in City Weekly, a local paper in Utah. Most notably, the restaurant was featured on the television show “Diner Seven” in 2018. Alongside his primary pursuits, Mr. Singh enjoys volunteering in his local community, as well as abroad in India. He credits much of his success in the United States to a woman named Vickie Hayes, who taught Mr. Singh how to speak and write English. He notes that without her guidance, he would not be in the prominent position he exists in today. Looking forward, Mr. Singh intends to make Curry Pizza a franchised business with several more locations. He would also like to help others who wish to work in the restaurant industry. Passionate about the food industry from a young age, Bhinda Singh always desired to open his own restaurant.
