296 MILLENNIUM-SECOND EDITION W hen he was just a child, Gregory C. Pratt enjoyed disassembling and reassembling electronics and machinery to discover how the products worked. After developing an aptitude for dissecting the materials, he later joined Ornamental Products, Tool & Supply, Inc., in 1957, a company founded by his grandfather that sold architectural and machinery products. A noted expert in sales, servicing, ordering and lecturing, he prides himself on his immense knowledge of the industry and his affinity for helping consumers obtain the correct products for their needs. The recipient of a diploma from Tri-State College in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1968, Mr. Pratt has served as an instructor of workshops at various institutions, including Bowling Green State University, The Ohio State University, Kent University, and Ohio Northern University. A prominent lecturer in the field, he was told that he contributed to vocational education more than any other person or distributor. After obtaining his diploma, he was drafted into the United States Army and was sent to its Signal School for 30 weeks and later to Vietnam. Mr. Pratt is a distinguished member of the Ohio Association for Career and Technical Education. In the past, he has worked with the Ohio Department of Education, supplying them with $255,000 worth of machinery for skills competitions. In addition, he was on the advisory committee of the Grafton Correctional Institution in affiliation with the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, as well as a commercial representative of the OIAA. A native of Middleburg Heights, Ohio, Mr. Pratt is the proud father of three daughters and grandfather of seven grandchildren.
