257 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine P atricia Ann Stoddard was involved in medicine from a formative age, having worked for a doctor’s office when she was still in school. Initially desiring to be a nurse, she realized over time that she wanted to be someone people came to for diagnoses. Attending Clackamas Community College, she received an Associate of Science in 1973, followed by a Bachelor of Arts from Linfield College in 1976. After accruing many years in the field, she earned a Master of Science in educational administration from Portland State University in 1993. Commencing her career in 1962, Ms. Stoddard served as a medical technologist for King County Blood Bank in Seattle for one year before becoming a surgical research technician for Bishop Eye Research until 1965. From 1965 to 1968, she was a general supervisor for Willamette Falls Hospital in Oregon City, Oregon, having thereafter been a director of the Willamette Animal Laboratory in Portland, Oregon, from 1969 to 1992. During this time, she began serving as an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Portland from 1977 to 1986. From 1990 to 2015, she was the director of the Miracle Medical Laboratory in Portland. Notably, she has served as an assistant professor at the National University of Natural Medicine since 1989. After struggling with blindness, the calf’s eyesight cleared up with an 85% improvement. Believing in the benefits of natural medicine, she is against pharmaceutical drugs and finds enjoyment out of treating patients without the use of addictive drugs. In the same vein, she has contributed her time to the American Red Cross in Vancouver, Washington, since 1979.
