189 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine M ichael A.M. Keehner is a seasoned executive and prominent investment banker with over five decades of global experience. He received a BS in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1965 and went on to achieve an MBA with high distinction fromHarvard Business School in 1971. Since 1992, Mr. Keehner has been the owner and managing director of Ore Hill Capital, LLC in NewYork City. Ore Hill Capital offers portfoliomanagement and advisory services to individuals, institutions, trusts, private funds, charitable organizations and investment companies. Mr. Keehner is also an adjunct professor of finance and economics at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, teaching courses in entrepreneurial finance, leadership in financial services and risk management. Mr. Keehner was a managing partner of The Keehner Group from 1994 to 2002 and president, chief executive officer and board of directors member of KP Exploration from 1982 to 1988, having thereafter been president of Kidder, Peabody International Corp. from 1989 to 1990. For more than 20 years, Mr. Keehner served the Corporate Finance Division of Kidder Peabody & Co., a full-service global investment banking firm, serving as partner, shareholder, executive managing director of individual investor services, chairman, director, managing director and investment banking manager. Additionally, Mr. Keehner was a radiological engineer at General Dynamics Corp. from 1965 to 1969. Devoted to sharing his wealth of knowledge in investment banking, Mr. Keehner is a faculty leader of the Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Center for Leadership and Ethics. He was previously director of Oppenheimer Holdings, Inc., and was chairman of their compensation committee and a member of their audit and governance committee. Mr. Keehner is a former president of the Heights Casino athletic club, governor and treasurer of the Point O’ Woods Association and longtime member of The Brooklyn Museum. He lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with his wife, Lee Ann Dunn. He is a doting grandfather and loves spending time with his three grandchildren, as well as his two children, Brigham and Jonathon.
