191 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine University, Mr. Minard worked at New Jersey Bell Telephone Company and the Pension Fund to help support his family. In 1975, he achieved an MBA in finance, with honors, from the Rutgers Graduate School of Business. Since 2004, Mr. Minard has been a managing partner at XT Capital Partners LLC. Over the years, he has served as chairman of InvestorForce, Inc.; global head of marketing and client services at Morgan Stanley; and chairman and chief executive officer of Bankers Trust Investment Management and Mitchell Hutchins Asset Management. He was also director of sales, marketing and client service at Oppenheimer Capital and vice president of Equitable Life Assurance Society. For his unmatched prowess in business, Mr. Minard was the recipient of the Richard A. Lothrop Lifetime Outstanding Achievement Award in 2007. He attributes much of his success to his mentors Wolcott Henry and Phillips Babcock. Mr. Minard currently sits on the board of directors of the Heritage Museum and Gardens and the Third Party Marketers Association. He served as chairman of the board for the Investor Responsibility Research Center in Washington, D.C., and chairman and chief executive officer of Mitchell Hutchins Asset Management. The highlight of Mr. Minard’s career was his work integrating a distinctive investment management firm, Mitchell Hutchins, into a brokerage firm structure. He also recalls when Morgan Stanley had 170 people working for him worldwide with five offices in Asia and Europe. In his first year there, they raised roughly $38 billion in one year, the largest raise that Morgan Stanley ever had in one year. When Mr. Minard worked at AT&T, he ran an in-house index fund in the late 1970s, and it was the first internally- managed index fund. F rank P.L. Minard has always had his eyes on the prize, and beginning in college, he took on any challenge that came his way. He served with the U.S. Navy in Vietnam from 1968 to 1972, and in 1969, he received a BA in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
