Desiring to reinvent himself, he became certified as a personal trainer and commenced his tenure with Barn Nutrition & Fitness in Shavertown, Pennsylvania, in 2018. Looking towards the future of the fitness center, he intends to expand the business, increase class sizes and educate community members on how to live a healthier lifestyle. Mr. Hontz is supported by an Associate of Arts in information technology communication from the Community College of the Air Force from 1992. Prior to working for Barn Nutrition & Fitness, he was a coaching assistant for Rock Solid Wrestling System, business analyst for Weis Markets, technician helper for Hillman Security & Fire Technologies, and applications developer for the Georgia Department of Corrections. Impressively, he was also a professional wrestler for Southern States Wrestling. In recognition of his success, Mr. Hontz was named Best Fitness Trainer by Times Leader, The Weekender and The Dallas Post. D rawing upon over four decades of experience in cardiology, Dr. Henry Smith Jennings III has been an assistant professor of medicine at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine since 2007. Alongside this role, he has served the Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a staff member, as well as a cardiologist representative on the Quality Improvement Committee to the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI). He has been a representative to the Cardiovascular Credentialing International Board of Advisors and to the American College of Cardiology’s Cardiac Imaging Leadership Section Council since 2016. Formerly serving Vanderbilt University in myriad capacities, Dr. Jennings also served in executive roles at Saint Thomas Hospital and the Vanderbilt Heart and Vascular Institute. Notably, he has been highlighted in Best Doctors of America since 2005 and earned a 2019 Certificate of Appreciation from the SCAI QI Committee for outstanding service. Holding a BS, summa cum laude, from Davidson College and MD from Vanderbilt University, Dr. Jennings was an intern and resident at Vanderbilt University Affiliated Hospitals, and a fellow of clinical cardiology with Vanderbilt’s Department of Medicine.
