256 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine LAW AND LAW ENFORCEMENT F ollowing his graduation from Wingfield High School in 1978, Keith Alan Freeman was unsure of his next steps in life. Upon discussing law enforcement with his friends who were police officers, he subsequently became inspired to pursue the same path, thus commencing his career in law enforcement. Drawing upon an AA fromHinds Community College in 1981, Mr. Freeman escalated through the ranks at the City of Jackson Police Department in Mississippi from patrolman to K-9 handler, sergeant, lieutenant and commander of Precinct 4, where he has served since 2015. In his role, he supervises lieutenants, sergeants and officers, as well as manages community meetings, handles citizen complaints and enforces laws. During this time, he attended the Command College in July 2018. Alongside this endeavor, Mr. Freeman has served as the head of security at the Hilton Hotel and Drago’s Restaurant in Jackson since 2015, where he manages security, prepares schedules and handles payroll. He attributes his success to the grace of God. Civically involved, Mr. Freeman was the second vice president of the City of Jackson Police Department Association and frequently volunteers with his church. Gosfield & Associates, P.C., in Philadelphia since 1986. Devoted to health law and regulation with a focus on representing physicians, Ms. Gosfield earned her JD from the New York University School of Law in 1973. She also holds a BA in political science and international relations from Barnard College. A contributor of over 196 articles and manuscripts, as well as an author of four books, Ms. Gosfield served as chairman of the board of the Health Care Incentives Improvement Institute from 2004 to 2013, attorney at Gosfield & Shay, Attorneys at Law, from 1978 to 1986 and chairman of Health Policy Perspectives, Inc., from 1974 to 1978. She was chairman of the board of directors of the National Committee for Quality Assurance from 1998 to 2002 and a member of four committees of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences. Inspired by her father, a cardiologist, Ms. Gosfield grew up working in his medical office, thus igniting her passion for health care.
