222 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS S erving Rome Memorial Hospital since 2019, Dr. Keneth Hall II has served as a minimally invasive surgeon, as well as the medical director of the Hernia Center, Bariatric Surgery Center, and Hyperbarics and Wound Center while maintaining a private practice in Rome, New York. Drawing upon an MD from the Howard University College of Medicine since 2005, Dr. Hall is a former assistant professor at Stony Brook University School of Medicine and also served Winthrop Surgical Associates. A frequent invited speaker at several symposia and medical associations, Dr. Hall has contributed peer-reviewed papers, manuscripts and abstracts to various publications, as well as academic presentations at national and international meetings. He has won multiple Top Doctor Awards, Patients Choice Awards, On- Time Doctor Awards and Compassion Doctor Recognitions from Vitals.com . After completing an internship in dietetics in 1970, she was set on building a future for herself within nutrition. Ms. Harper commenced her career as director of dietetics at Logan County Hospital, where she worked from 1965 to 1980. She ended her career as an instructor of nutrition at her alma mater in 1992. Between 1983 and 1990, Ms. Harper served as a consultant and institutional dietetic administrator at Western State Hospital, and dietitian for Rivendell Children’s Psychiatric Hospital. Notably, Ms. Harper was awarded the Outstanding Alumni Award from Phi Upsilon Omicron in 1997, among other recognitions. Of her numerous achievements, Ms. Harper is most proud her publication on meal and oral antibiotic interference in Kentucky hospital; it was referenced in Powers’ “Food and Drug Handbook.” Ms. Harper was president of the Logan County Home Economist Club and a member of the National Nutrition Network, Bowling Green- Warren County Nutrition Council, National Center for Nutrition and Dietetics, Kentucky Nutrition Council, International PlatformAssociation, Diabetes Care and Education and Dietitians in Health Care Communities.
