Chung developed his passions throughout his formative years, including automobiles, marketing and entrepreneurship. Graduating from the University of Washington with a BBA in marketing, finance and entrepreneurship in 2014, he initially desired to enter the marketing industry. However, after meeting an executive of Coding Dojo and being convinced of the potential he had to grow the company, he joined the team as a marketing strategist and marketing consultant. An up-and-coming professional in the field, Mr. Chung advanced to director of new campus development in 2018, a position he held for one year, and chief operating officer, a role he has held since 2019. He specializes in business planning and business strategy. Coding Dojo is a business that serves as a stepping stone for emerging coding professionals. Starting with two locations, the company now has over 10 locations across the nation and over 5,000 graduates. Alongside his current endeavors, Mr. Chung has been a consultant in marketing and business strategies for Q Marketing Solutions since 2014, as well as a managing partner of Twin Vision Activewear since 2014. Notably, he earned a Triple Black Belt in computer software engineering fromCoding Dojo in 2018, thus establishing his credibility in the field. Philanthropically involved as well, Mr. Chung has been the vice president of the Code for Change Foundation and was a food bank volunteer for the Good Shepard Church in 2007. During his college studies, he was also a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, where he was a mentor of the alumni advisory board and chairman of the alumni relations committee between 2011 and 2013. Likewise, he was a chairman of the public relations committee between 2007 and 2009. Mr. Chung has accrued several accolades in his years of working, including being named among the 30 Under 30 by 425 Business Magazine in 2019. Coding Dojo also named him the Best Salesperson for three consecutive years between 2016 and 2018, and Twin Vision Activewear named him a Top Nationwide Salesperson in 2015 and 2016.
