Previously, he flourished as a project engineer for CHAMP of North America, a thermal and fluids analyst for Teledyne Brown Engineering and a research assistant at the University of Tennessee Space Institute. In 1984, he commenced his career as a contractual engineer for United Technologies. Mr. Dang has earned numerous accolades from NASA and the Army, as well as an Achievement Award from Raytheon Missile Systems Co. Accruing more than 35 years of eminent experience within the field of engineering, he routinely received “Excellent” ratings for his annual performances. While his career has been abound with highlights, he is especially proud of making significant contributions to the improvement of the UAV propulsion system and new UAV engine component qualifications. Likewise, he took pride for evaluating the docked space shuttle shadowing the Space Station solar panels. Coupled with his love for mathematics, Khanh Q. Dang was inspired by NASA’s Apollo missions to become an aerospace engineer. A native of Vietnam, he immigrated to the United States in 1979 and attended the University of Bridgeport, earning a BS in mechanical engineering. Shortly thereafter, he attended numerous prestigious academic institutions, where he earned an MA in mathematics from the University of Alabama, an MS in aerospace engineering from the University of Tennessee and an MS in mechanical engineering from Columbia University. Earlier, he completed coursework in fluid mechanics at Cleveland State University. From 2019 to 2020, Mr. Dang excelled as a senior structural analyst for Integration Innovation, Inc., having previously flourished as an aerospace engineer for the United States Army in Huntsville, Alabama, from 2001 to 2019. Earlier in his career, he contributed to TecMasters as a senior thermal and fluid analyst from 1999 to 2001, to Raytheon Missile Systems Co. as a senior mechanical engineer from 1997 to 1999 and to SETAR NASA Glenn Contract as KHANH Q.
