Influenced by his father and grandfather, who were both commercial real estate agents, Mr. Ahearn is the third generation in his family to pass on the legacy. Since April of 2020, he has served as the vice president of the Commercial Division of Pinnacle Estate Properties in Camarillo, California. In this position, he meets with buyers and prospective tenants to achieve the best possible deal for his clients, which often include multi-family homes in commercial real estate ventures. Pinnacle Estate Properties is a primary residential company with 1,500 agents in eight offices. Prior to this appointment, he served in the same capacity for Century 21 Everest from 2015 to 2020, whereupon he was named the #1 Century 21 Commercial Real Estate Agent in the World in 2018. He cites this achievement as the ultimate highlight of his career. He has maintained a real estate license since 2016. Attributing his success to his faith in God, his diligent work ethic andhis dedication tohis clients, Mr. Ahearn previously served as a foreman for a construction company which was subcontracted from a nationwide investment group and pursued coursework at an accredited culinary institution. Civically involved as well, he currently affiliates himself with Habitat for Humanity as a member of their Carpenters Club and as a member of their advisory board in Ventura County, California. Bonacio worked for her father’s mobile manufacturing company, in which she worked as a secretary answering phone calls. As time passed, a client reached out to Ms. Bonacio, advising her that a sales position was open. Taking on the opportunity willingly, Ms. Bonacio has since blossomed in her career, recognizing her love for working with other individuals and helping them make poignant decisions that alter the course of their lives. Since 1999, she has served as a realtor in Saratoga Springs, New York. Years later, she decided to spearhead her own company, Julie & Co. Realty, in 2015, where she remains today. Congruent to this path, Ms. Bonacio has also excelled as vice president of Bonacio Construction since 2005, drawing upon an Associate of Arts from Catherine Gibbs College from 1989. In 1973, he graduated with an associate degree from Miami Dade College. Working for several architects, landscape architects, engineers and construction firms shortly thereafter, he earned a BA in landscape architecture from Louisiana State University in 1978. In 1982, Mr. Corral spearheaded his own landscape architecture firm, titled Mariano Corral and Associates, P.A., in Miami. Specializing in a variety of landscape architectural designs, land planning, and golf course architecture, he also often goes to high schools and discusses his profession with high school students. Continually reading and researching in the field, Mr. Corral has been published in the national magazine of the Builder’s Association and in local magazines and has appeared as guest speaker on television shows. In 2014, Mr. Domingue founded Lafayette Roofing & General Contractors LLC, for whom he has served as owner and operations manager for six years. Servicing the area of Lafayette, Louisiana, within a 40-mile radius, he specializes in roof replacement and repair, roofing contracting, hail damage and storm damage. With a portfolio of more than 10,000 home repairs and replacements in Acadiana, the business is family-operated and is partnered as the official roofing company for the University of Louisiana Ragin Cajuns. Revered by colleagues and clients alike, Mr. Domingue has been described as a fair business manager who treats everyone like family. Likewise, he is a proponent of continuing education programs and learning in light of the new technologies and products that are emerging within the construction industry. Civically involved, Mr. Domingue donates annually to veterans, police officers and individuals in need through his roofing business, in which he provides a free roof to an individual’s family once per year. He also contributes to Real MenWear Pink to help raise funds and awareness for breast cancer. Additionally, he is involved with the veterans’ alliance, helping veterans in need of assistance. He credits much of his success to his mentors, including Pat O’Neal and Miles O’Hara, under whom he served as an apprentice and gained valuable insight and experience. Patrick O’Hara was invaluable uponMr. Donald entering NIPSCO’s testing field with teaching him with his vast knowledge of weld inspection. Fromthesemen, Mr. Donald grew a desire to give back and has spent four years volunteering at variouswelding schools. Looking ahead, Mr. Donald plans to continue working in the shop and expanding his teaching courses. Notably, he makes it his goal to ensure that his fellow welders and upper management know that he is available 24 hours per day, as he is always ready to handle a situation. In his spare time, Mr. Donald enjoys fishing and gardening, as well as traveling with his wife Mary. Intrigued by welding as a teenager, Robert E. Donald Jr.’s family friend, Pat O’Neal, took him under his wing and taught him the trade. Striking his first arc at the age of 14, he took vocational classes during high school, which vastly improved his skills. His natural curiosity of the melting of metals and the field of metallurgy led him to become a distinguished welder of the Midwest for more than 20 years. Today, he is a certified welding inspector by the American Welding Society and a certified visual inspector by the American National Society of Nondestructive Testing. Since 2020, Mr. Donald has excelled in his role as a senior technical trainer of gas welding at the Northern Indiana Public Service Company’s Welding Training Center, where he formerly served as a technical trainer for seven years. Specializing in pipefitting, welding and metallurgy, he oversees a crew of two welding inspectors alongside managing the weld training school. In 1993, he earned an MS in architecture studies and design inquiry, and in 2001, a PhD in architecture, design and computation, both from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In 2008, he also attained a habilitation in architecture from the University of Lisbon. While obtaining his degrees at MIT, Dr. Duarte served the university as a research assistant, teaching assistant and lecturer from 1992 to 2000. Returning to the university in 2009, he has since been a visiting scientist in the Design Laboratory. He has served the University of Lisbon in myriad roles since 2001, including as a visiting professor in the School of Architecture, assistant professor and full professor, and dean of the School of Architecture from 2012 to 2015 before returning to the U.S. Since 2015, he has excelled as the director of the Stuckeman Center for Design Computing at Pennsylvania State University. A certified architect, Dr. Duarte has lent his expertise to written works, authoring “Customizing Mass Housing: A Discursive Grammar for Siza’s Malagueira Houses” in 2006 and “Type and Module: An Approach to the Housing Production Process” in 1995. He has flourished as an editor for conference proceedings. Among his career highlights, he is especially proud of his model for mass customization of housing and his patents pending for reinforced composite materials, concrete mixture for 3D printing and a method for 3D printing raised slabs. In light of his exceptional undertakings, Dr. Duarte has garnered several accolades. Receiving second prize for the Mars 3D-Printed Habitat Challenge from NASA in 2017, he also earned first prize in architecture from the University of Lisbon in 2008. He received the Hyzen Award from MIT in 1999. Desiring to become an architect from a formative age, Dr. Jose Pinto Duarte was influenced to delve into the industry after witnessing the housing crisis in his native Portugal. He also wrote “The Art of Placemaking: Interpreting Community through Public Art and Urban Design” in 2007, “Saving Face: How Corporate Franchise Design Can Respect Community Identity” in 1994 and “On Common Ground” in 1982. Mr. Fleming received the Townsend Award for Lifetime Achievement from the New England Society of New York and was declared One of 16 National Leaders for Livable, Sustainable and Equitable America. The Partners for Livable Communities bestowed upon him the William H. Whyte Lifetime Achievement Award, and he received the Pulitzer Prize for Trilogy on Proprietorship from the Massachusetts Historical Society in 1982. Additionally, he earned commendations from the Department of Transportation. Interested in the meaning of places and the environment, Ronald Lee Fleming became involved in the Cambridge Arts Council, and thus, his career with urban planning commenced. Drawing upon a BA from Pomona College and master’s degree in city planning from Harvard University, he began his career with Marshall, Kaplan, Gans & Kahn as an urban planner and analyst in 1969. He went on to become a main street revitalization planner in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 1971, excelling in the role for the following seven years. In 1979, he became the president of the Townscape Institute – a position he still holds today. A consultant and lecturer on townscape and planning issues throughout the United States, Europe, Japan and China, Mr. Fleming was the founder and chairman of the Cambridge Arts Council from 1975 to 1979. From 1980 to 1984, he was chairman of the board of overseers for Strawberry Banke. A former standing committee member of the Trustees of Reservations in Beverly, Massachusetts, he also chaired the Boston chapter of Save Venice. In addition, he has been a branch manager for 1st Financial, Inc., since 2017, as well as self-employed in the real estate industry since 2002. Finding great success in his roles, Mr. Padron has been published in the National Mortgage Press and nominated to the 40 Under 40. Prior to his current positions, Mr. Padron gained valuable expertise at multiple companies that led him to his current feats. Serving as branch manager of Universal Mortgage & Finance in 2016 and 2017, he had also been a vice president and loan officer of Union Mortgage Investment Group Corporation from 2013 to 2016. A loan officer for United American Mortgage Funding LLC in 2014, he excelled as a realtor for Ark Realty and Associates in 2012 and 2013. Earlier, Mr. Padron served as chief executive officer of the Financial Mortgage Exchange Group from 2006 to 2009. A past president of the Miami chapter of the Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals, Mr. Padron has also served in varying roles, such as secretary of the board of directors, state director and committee chair of education and events, since 2014. He attributes his success to building strong, professional relationships. Renowned in the area for their artisanship and customer service, Ponce Construction offers a variety of construction projects including pools, spas, fountains, waterfalls, decks, fire pits, softscapes and walkways, as well as outdoor kitchens and entertainment systems, lighting and sprinkler systems, Roman column cabanas, patio covers and more.
