111 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine ENERGY, ENGINEERING AND MANUFACTURING University to partake in an exciting research project to co-develop the first DC powered home since the early 1900s. Fully powered by solar and batteries alone, the newly-developed house and all of its appliances will be the first of its kind. This project provides the opportunity for continued innovation spanning across the utility, electrical and building sectors. Mr. Teague describes this important shift toward sustainability as having four pillars: smart, secure, simple and safe, “leading the category of DC.” Mr. Teague earned a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University Bloomington in 2006. He was named a “40 Under 40” award recipient by Midwest Energy News in 2019, received the Edge Award in 2014 and the Greenlight Award in 2017, both from the state of Indiana. Engaged in his local community, he is an advocate for native plants, energy and environmental education, conservation and stewardship. Likewise, he has been invited to be a guest speaker on the topic of solar by various schools, nonprofit organizations and businesses throughout the state of Indiana. Furthermore,Mr. Teaguehas beenaboardmember of the IndianaRenewable EnergyAssociation and is a current member of EMerge Alliance and SunSpec Alliance, a donor to Christel House International, and a judge for various middle school and high school science fairs. Passionate about his career and personal path, Mr. Teague cites his faith as a driving force behind his success. Looking forward, he intends to continue helping others achieve a sustainable future through continued research with development and innovation. Married for several years to his wife Caitlin, Mr. Teague is the proud father of two children, Hank and Maggie. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, praying and meditating, fishing and various outdoor activities, such as rockclimbing and hiking.
