169 Millennium - A Marquis Who’s Who Magazine HEALTH AND WELLNESS Opening DVT Diagnostic Services, Inc., in 2006, Davit Bakhchinyan currently serves the mobile ultrasound clinic as chief executive officer and president. DVT Diagnostic Services provides diagnostic imaging services to clients throughout the states of California and Nevada, and currently employs 40 individuals. Registered as a vascular technologist and diagnostic sonographer in 2005, he recognized the lack of access for patients to obtain high-quality and affordable diagnostic imaging, thus prompting his desire to open his business. Currently, DVT Diagnostic Services holds contracts with private practices, assisted living and home health providers, correctional facilities andmedical centers. In his roles as president and chief executive officer, Mr. Bakhchinyan oversees day-to-day operations and personnel management, as well as performs complex imaging services for his patients. Desiring to enter the medical field after witnessing the success of his grandparents, who were both medical professionals, he has thoroughly enjoyed helping others in a clinical capacity. Drawing upon a Bachelor of Science in diagnostic medical sonography from the California University of Science and Medicine in 2002, Mr. Bakhchinyan pursued additional diagnostic training in radiology at the Oregon University of Technology. He also holds a degree in music performance from the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan in his native Armenia. Currently, he is pursuing degrees in medicine from the Oregon University of Technology and California State University, Dominguez Hills. Mr. Bakhchinyan maintains membership with the Society for Diagnostic Medicine and the Registry for Diagnostic Medical Stenography. Prior to establishing his business, he worked for St. Gregory Medical Group, Inc., in Los Angeles and for Scope Diagnostic Services, Inc., in Burbank, California, as an ultrasound technician and sonographer in the 2000s. He has also notably been a consultant in the field. Mr. Bakhchinyan has always loved working with modern technology and making that technology more useful for patients and clinicians.
